Quick review of some of the shifting values in Anglo-Saxon life after the advent of Christianity. Introduced concept of an allegory.
Began Campfire Quiz on the poem "The Seafarer."
- Groups will read the background information and the poem (87--91) and discuss the questions under Critical Thinking on page 91, requesting help from the teacher as needed.
- Then individual students will write short paragraph open responses to questions 1--5, and submit for a quiz grade.
DUE DATES
FRIDAY, October 7: Rough drafts due to Ms. Bishop for a grade.
