Students completed Medieval Romance DEJ forms noting examples of trawthe or the acts of an ideal chivalrous knight.
Discussed student DEJ notes.

Reviewed events leading up to second half of the poem and began reading the ending of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

Distributed Medieval Romance DEJ forms; discussed Medieval idea of trawthe, as defined in the introduction to the poem.
Began reading Gawain and the Green Knight.  Students noted line numbers of elements of Medieval Romance and actions reflecting trawthe, or the acts of an ideal chivalrous knight.
