Using laptops (or cell phones or tablets) students navigated to online text of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
Distributed Medieval Romance DEJ forms; discussed Medieval idea of trawthe, as defined in the introduction to the poem.
Began reading Gawain and the Green Knight.  Students noted line numbers of elements of Medieval Romance and actions reflecting trawthe, or the acts of an ideal chivalrous knight.

FRIDAY, December 2: Optional final draft memoir essays due.
